I was orphaned at 20 and $6K in debt and living paycheck to paycheck at 28 and barely able to make ends meet, but with the help of some financial mentors and this book, I was able to turn everything around and retire at 58 as a millionaire and I don't say that lightly because it took a lot of discipline and planning and sacrifice along the way. What struck me the most with this book is often times we view the people driving the fancy brand new cars and living in the McMansions as millionaires, but never the ones that are driving the 10-year-old car and living in a townhome. I've been through the school of hard knocks so many times in my life, like losing my parents at such a young age, but what doesn't kill you can make you stronger and more determined not only for yourself but to make your parents proud. I can remember thinking way back then at 20 and 28, how will I ever survive, and I not only did it, but I managed to become a millionaire too. If I can do it, so can you!
